Pak players occupy slots in ICC Test Rankings



ISLAMABAD: Three Pakistani cricketers occupy top slots in the top ten latest Reliance International Cricket Council (ICC) Test Rankings released on Friday.
In the Reliance ICC Test Rankings for batsmen (top 30), Yonus Khan of Pakistan stands firm at fourth position with an average of 52.44 and 797 points, says a press release issued here.
AB de Villiers and Jacques Kallis of South Africa hold the first and second spots with 821 and 819 points, respectively. Michael Clarke 3rd (Australia, 809 points) while S. Chanderpaul of West Indies stands fifth at 785 points.
For the Reliance ICC Test Rankings for bowlers (top 20), Saeed Ajmal retains his second spot with an average of 26.70 and 835 points. Another promising Pakistani bowler Abdur Rehman holds the tenth slot with an average of 27.37and 739 points.
Dale Steyn of South Africa is at first place with 886 points followed by James Anderson 3rd and Graeme Swann 4th of England with 798 and 779 points, respectively.
