Peshawar Panthers successful against Islamabad Leopards


KARACHI : Peshawar Panthers started the tournament successfully by beating Islamabad Leopards by 28 runs in a T20 match here on Wednesday.Islamabad Leopards won the toss and decided to field. In a 20-year game, Peshawar Panthers managed to score 150 runs for 9 wickets down.The main scorers were Aftab Alam 36 and Raffatullah Mohmand 24 while Zohaib Ahmed from Islamabad Leopards took 3 wickets.Islamabad Leopards lost their four quick wickets in first over of their innings after which batting lineup failed to sustain. They managed to score 122 for all out.Naem Anjum was the high scorer from Islamabad Leopards with 40 runs while Noman Habib in his debut match took four wickets from Peshawar Panthers side.
