Sportsmen discuss flood situation with President

KARACH I: President Asif Ali Zardari met a delegation of 30 athletes who called on him to discuss the flood situation in SindhJaved Miandad and other well known athletes were the part of this meeting.Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board Ijaz Butt was also present there.Prior to the meeting it was reported that the former cricket captain Shahid Afridi would hold a separate meeting with the president but that was not the case. According to sources there was no development pertaining to Afridi’s return to international cricket.
