Top umpire Aleem Dar returns home

LAHORE : Pakistani and ICC's top umpire Aleem Dar returned home after clinching ICC award for the umpire of the year for the third consecutive year.A large crowd present at the Allama Iqbal International Airport accorded warm welcome to the Pakistani umpire.Talking to media at the airport, Dar said that he felt proud to be Pakistani. He further said that it was not his award but of Pakistan. He said that the central contract for umpires should also be introduced in the country.He said domestic cricket in Pakistan should be promoted so that new players and umpires would come to light.
