Pakistan, Sri Lanka teams arrive in UAE

ABU DHABI : Pakistan and Sri Lanka cricket teams arrived here on Saturday for playing a series of three Tests, five One-day Internationals and a Twenty20 match.The matches of the series will be played at three venues - Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah.The first Test of the series between the two countries will begin on October 18 at Abu Dhabi..This is for the first time that a Test match will be played between Pakistan and Sri Lanka in the United Arab Emirates, and this is also the first time the two teams are meeting for an all out series since the 2009 tour of Pakistan during which the Sri Lankan team became victim to a terrorist attack in Lahore.
