All credit to the team who bowled brilliantly today. The boys fielded quite well too. Jason (van der Merwe) played a great knock at the start. Then I stayed on with him. Later, Shane (Getkate) played a fantastic knock to take us through to the end. It was a brilliant all-round performance by the team. It was a result of hard work that we have through so many tight games. It is a great relief to have finally qualified and to be leading the team into the Word Cup.On the final day of the competition on Tuesday, Namibia plays Kenya at Drummond, Ireland and PNG go head to head at Eglinton, Scotland takes on Vanuatu at Coleraine, Nepal and USA play each other at Limavady and Canada plays Afghanistan at Strabane. There is plenty to play for on the final day of the competition as three spots are still up for grabs at next year?s ICC Under 19 Cricket World Cup.
