Pelham Myburgh (66: 111b, 4x4) and Gert Lotter (57: 43b, 7x4) played handy knocks to help Namibia reach a competitive total. For the home team, skipper George Dockrell bowled yet another magnificent spell of 3-35.Ireland slipped to 32 for three in the chase. But Jason van der Merwe (71: 90b, 10x4) and skipper Dockrell (83 n.o.: 113b, 5x4) added 99 runs for the fourth wicket to put the chase back on track. Later, Shane Getkate (59 n.o.: 51b, 3x4, 1x6) added an unbroken 115 runs for the fifth wicket with Dockrell to help Ireland overhaul the target with six wickets to spare.Dockrell?s all-round show earned him the Man of the Match and quite naturally he was thrilled with the performance of his team: "Yes definitely it is great to see the team through to the World Cup. All credit to the team who bowled brilliantly today. The boys fielded quite well too. Jason (van der Merwe) played a great knock at the start. Then I stayed on with him. Later, Shane (Getkate) played a fantastic knock to take us through to the end. It was a brilliant all-round performance by the team.
