India slips in ICC ranking after whitewash in England

CARDIFF : After humiliating defeat in the ODI series, India slipped to 5th position in the ICC ODI rankings.In the latest ODI rankings, India’s miserable show in the England tour pushed them to the 5th rank in the chart.Home ground world champion India on arrival in London was number one in test ranking and number two in one-day ranking, but the England team whitewashing them in the four test series pushed them down to third position from first, which the England themselves occupied.Now in one-day series also, England winning it by 3-0 dragged down India to the fifth position from second.
